How can I access the Firefox toolbar (view, ) since nothing shows save Google toolbar when opening Firefox?

I would like for instance to retrace my bookmarks as Ihave lost them all and since I am unable to access any of the menus ('historique' etc...) that proved ever so useful.

Every time Firefox opened

Solution choisie

Hit the Alt key to show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark.
