Request to enable VPN on my account / Firefox

First, Firefox VPN is available in limited reigons. However, if your reigon is one that is currently supported, then you can ignore this first comment.

If you still cant access it, go to about:config, accept risk (use at own discretion), then search for browser.ipProtection.enabled, then change its value to true if previously false.

Next, right click your toolbar, and select "customize toolbar", then drag the VPN icon to the toolbar.

Next, go to about:studies, and see if you are a part of the " VPN-MVP Beta Holdback" if so, then you are a part of the study, and will not be able to access the VPN for the time being.

Also, a sign out and a sign in can potentially resolve this issue.

If you are in a company, check if in about:policies if VPN is disabled.

I would like to use the VPN feature with my Firefox account, but it is not available or enabled for me. Could you please check my account and enable it, or let me know what I need to do to get access?

Firefox Accounts has been renamed as Mozilla Accounts since November 1st, 2023 to reflect that it is no no longer being used just for the Firefox Sync feature. The built-in VPN in Firefox just uses the Mozilla Account to sign in to use the built-inVPN in Firefox on desktop and more recently Firefox for Android.

Nobody here has access to your Mozilla Account.

Mozilla refers to it as built-in VPN as "Firefox VPN" implies it is a standalone product like Mozilla VPN is.
