Printer setting fail to download

Hi, Just migrated off windows and onto Linux and I'm having a problem printing emails and attachments directly from Thunderbird. Printing from Mozilla itself works find. I have checked the config information and everything looks ok and when I go to print in Thunderbird, the printer is there but the information presented shows that Thunderbird has the printer greyed out. I have an Epson ET-8550 and the correct drivers are present but TB doesn't seem to finding them. I'm running TB v140.03.0esr 64 bit

Hi, Just migrated off windows and onto Linux and I'm having a problem printing emails and attachments directly from Thunderbird. Printing from Mozilla itself works find. I have checked the config information and everything looks ok and when I go to print in Thunderbird, the printer is there but the information presented shows that Thunderbird has the printer greyed out. I have an Epson ET-8550 and the correct drivers are present but TB doesn't seem to finding them. Solved! Instead of downloading from the repository using dnf (sudo dnf install thunderbird) which downloaded and installed version 140.03, I went directly to the Thunderbird website where I downloaded v144.0. This took care of the problem after de-installing all traces of the offending software.

I might also note that, originally, I download the flatpack for v140.03. I'm assuming that the repositories aren't updated very regularly.
