New Spectrum password-Cannot connect to server.

We had to change our Spectrum password. Even after updating the password in Thunderbird, it still says that it cannot connect to the server. How do we reset things without loosing all of the folders in Thunderbird email?

Please provide a screenshot of the error that you are getting. Is this the outgoing or incoming server you are having trouble with? Or both?
