Error msg displays since last FF update on 10/10/24

After 10/10/24 FF desktop update, when FF opened, dialog box displays with: "Error: Platform version '131.0.2' is not compatible with minVersion>=131.0 maxVersion<=131.0".

When i hit OK, it closes the FF desktop application.

Can no longer enter the FF desktop browser application

Hi sdialo,

This is a known issue caused by a corrupted installation after a failed update. The workaround is to uninstall and then re-install Firefox to fix this issue while our team is working on a more permanent fix.
