Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.tiscali.co.uk was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again.' All server settings are correct Antivirus and firewall are not blocking the programme. I can send using webmail, but nit using thunderbird!

Do you have smtp.tiscali.co.uk on port 587, STARTTLS security, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address? If you have multiple Tiscali accounts, is there a separate smtp server for each one with the same User Name?
