sending mail ask for password

Thunderbird asks for a password when sending mail. The password is in the system. It reads the mail no problem. When I do the TOOL< Security< show passwords they show correct. How do I stop it from asking on send?

Delete the password and send again.

Thunderbird will ask the password, then give the password.
