If you don't know what happens then you have a lot more work to do on your end. The settings go to a way that you have them. Not the way I have them. You can't have it update without it changing the way I've set them?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't recall losing any settings when updating Firefox. That's why people are asking you for details.
