Bookmarks Toolbar not syncing on MacOS High Sierra (Firefox Quantum)

Hi there I created a Firefox account on one mac inc a bookmarks toolbar, when i signed into a second (identical) spec mac the toolbar sync worked fine and the toolbar bookmarks appeared.

I used the second mac for a week and made additions to the toolbar bookmarks, on return to the first mac and despite re-syncing (and signing in and out of firefox) none of the changes made were synced to the first mac.

Please advise.

Thanks for the reply, tried the instructions but unfortunately made no difference :-(

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.

Unfortunately despite having just tried syncing several times, the log remains empty
