Bookmarks menu jumps to left then disappears. The page I wanted to bookmark appears at bottom of menu,

I click Bookmarks. Menu drops down. When In attempt to save the page's bookmark, the dialogue box jumps to the left and disappears off screen. Later, the page's bookmark appears at the bottom of the bookmarks menu. I run FF 53.0.3 on Win 10.

All new bookmarks will be placed at the bottom of whatever folder you place them in. You can move them to wherever you want after.

Thanks. However, it doesn't seem like a good move. Before I simply opened the folder I wished to place the bookmark in and clicked done. Now the dialogue box appears, disappears, then reappears after the bookmark is at the bottom of the menu. Anyway, thanks again.

You can move the tab to a folder in the "Show your bookmarks" drop-down list and drop the tab in the location where you want it to appear.
