thunderbird has crashed twice in a week

Thunderbird keeps crashing, running on Windows 7 32bit virtual machine running on vmware, it receives emails from an imap server on an company MS exchange server running on our private network, we have 3 add-ons enabled for archiving and forwarding, reason for crash is exception_access_violation but struggling to find any more info as to why? any help or suggestions would be appreciated
