LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK button missing from Pinterest. Can access only in safemode

Hi, recently the Login with Facebook button is missing when I try to access Pinterest in FF. I am able to login with facebook in IE so the issue is a FF one, not a pinterest one. I have followed as many steps as I can with add-ons, starting in safemode, resetting firefox. THe latter two work, but resetting or being in safemode is not feasible to do every day. I used to be able to by pass the main login page, and then the second page would have the facebook button but now it does not. does anyone have any suggestions please?!

Hi zalexander, can you think of any add-ons/features you use that might be blocking Facebook from appearing on the Pinterest site? In particular, I'm thinking of anti-tracking features/add-ons such as:

  • Extensions like Disconnect, Ghostery, and Privacy Badger that filter out "tracking" site content. Extensions are disabled in Firefox's Safe Mode, and removed by a Refresh, so that may be a sign...

Hi, thank you for the reply. I turned off tracking protection and the log in button is there now. I don't know if that's good or not to turn it off, but it rectified the issue i was having. Thank you again!

Note that you can check the Web Console ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer) for content that is possibly blocked by Tracking Protection.
