HP Pavillion, Win 10, Thunderbird (sorry can't tell you the version).

While sorting mail, my folder pane vanished. I was left with a single (Local) folder view and no way to change it.

I tried rebooting, first, to no avail. Then I spent some time looking through your support database and received some points to examine. I tried View ->Folders->All (it had been set to Recent). No change.

I read on and found information on the Roaming location. I wasn't sure it was relevant but then, when I looked at Edit->Folder Properties I noticed that the Location: listed a non-existent folder.

Folder Properties->Location: mailbox///C:/Users/Equinox/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/nqqnjr.default

In Windows Explorer I can find: - C:/Users/Equinox/Roaming/Intel/Wireless - C:/Users/Administrator/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Shockwave Player 11 - C:/Users/Default Migrated/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows - C:/Users/Public/Roaming/Intel/Wireless

All of these appear to be empty and there may be folders that I can't see, although I think I'm an Admin on my computer. That's what happens when you rely on friends and acquaintance for IT support.

I would add images but I'm writing this on my Mac while I watch the search continue on the Win 10 box.
