If I search for websites from google.com, I cannot open the results by clicking on the links. However, I can open them by right clicking on a link and selecting "Open link in new tab." I tested searching via yahoo.com, and there is no problem. I think it may have to do with security certificates. I use Kaspersky Total Internet Security.

Click the menu button , click help icon or question mark button and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.... Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog.Check if that works if yes it might due to some addon.

If not try a reset with this reference [[link|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-preferences-fix-problems]] .Reply if it is not working.Hope it helps.

Hi Premm,

Thanks for your help. After a few days Firefox worked normally, so perhaps it reset on its own whatever needed to be reset. I appreciate your description of starting Firefox in safe mode and of resetting my preferences. In the future, if I need these procedures, I'll know how to do them.

Thanks, Gary
