Sometimes when I save an image in Firefox and I open it. It says it's not a valid file. It's weird, but I've had it on 2 different computers so far.

Did you make sure that the file has the correct file extension for this image?

What do you mean?

If a file has the wrong file extension then Windows will try to open the file with the application that is associated with that file extension. If that is the wrong application then it won't be able to handle this file.

The file may also be corrupted if this still happens if the file has the correct file extension and also can't be opened in Firefox.

So, it's an inevitable problem then? I've had this with regular image files, if that's what you're asking. Couldn't open them, couldn't post them in forums.
