firefox 36.0.4 on osx doesn't recognize that a new version is available for download

Running firefox 36.0.4 on OSX 10.10.2. Previously, when I went to to Firefox->About and a newer version was available, firefox discovered it and downloaded the update. I expect the same would work even for an upgrade from 36.0.4->37 but firefox claims that I have the latest version.

Solution choisie

We have turned off updates to investigate an issue on Windows. If you would like to download the new version please go to www.getfirefox.com and download from there, or just wait a day or two for the updates to be turned back on :)
