I'll refrain from using derogatory language, but it REALLY is an effort not to ... just so you know that I m actually restraining myself to be polite here!

Can you read what it says on the inactive tabs in the screenshot below? I can't.

If you can't either, then maybe you could tell me how to adjust it so it becomes readable?

And no, I don't use extensions or hacks to make programs work the way they should out of the box.

Update Firefox to the latest release - this was a bug that was fixed after version 33.
