how do i make the tab bar area smaller in firefox 4 its taking up too much space
the tab bar area is very large i was wondering if theres a way to just have small tabs and i dont know what the other stuff is for at the right side of the tabs but its way to large.maybee shrink it or turn it off? thanks

Basically, first get an Add-on like "Littlefox". This makes the "space" around all the elements smaller, and then you can tweak these for even more efficient space use.
There's a bug in 4.ob7 that prevents some toolbar changes from being saved, but it's fixed in 4.0p8.
But I don't want the theme to change, just want the ability to resize the tabs.
