I got this 'Method Not Implemented GET to / not supported.' when browsing a website with firefox, other browser did it right. Also some other firefoxs on other computer did it okay. What can I do ?

This is the complete message : Method Not Implemented

GET to / not supported.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried browsing the site using IE and Crome, those handled it correctly.

I also tried browsing using Firefox from other computers, some were able to display the site and some were not.


Is the problem with my version of firefox browser or with the website setting ?

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
