Firefox for iOS password sync not working unless triggered manually

I am trying to use Firefox passwords on on Windows 11 and iPhone via Sync but password changes made in Windows 11 do not sync to the iPhone unless the sync is triggered manually from within the Firefox for iOS app. Password changes do not sync automatically.
