Could you please fix the very annoying "Thunderbird is already running but is not responding" error message.
I'm running Thunderbird 91.2.1 (32 bit) on a Windows 10 PC. The version of Windows is Home, 21H1 with all updates applied.
Usually when I open Thunderbird I receive an alert box saying Thunderbird is already running. This happens even after the PC has been closed down overnight. This kind of error message is not a confidence booster for anyone using Thunderbird for the first time.
Another annoying issue that has been around for the decade that I have been using Thunderbird is logging in. When Thunderbird starts a log-in box appears and a curser flashes in the box for my password. BUT the log-in box has not been given focus at this point, which is confusing because of the flashing cursor.
Could you please change the log-in process so that it has focus at this point?

When I return to Thunderbird after being in Firefox, sometimes it is locked up and shows "Not Responding". This is happening too frequently and is annoying. I often have to reboot my whole system to get Thunderbird up and running again. Comments please And thanks.
