When composing in one of my alternate identities it does not show a TO: field.

A longtime Thunderbird user, now on 68.4.2. When Composing a new email from just *one* of my alternate identities I do not get a "To:" field; it defaults to "BCC:" and I must change it via the dropdown. I *can* report that eliminating my default BCC in that one ID 'solves' the issue, but I really need that default BCC as well. This is a recent unhappy development, and only happens in one ID. I've tried a bunch of things without any luck- restarting with add-ons disabled, saving 'corrected' version as a template, checking all my options/settings...even deleting that alt-ID, stopping/restarting Tbird...then adding a 'new' alt-ID. But using it *still* gets me a composition window with no TO: field. Thanks!

I've adjusted some settings so I have same set up as you. I've tested and I can replicate this issue.

I've also discovered that if you then change the 'From' to any other email address/identity, whilst the Bcc field is cleared - which is correct, it still does not clear the option of Bcc, so no 'To' field is auto shown. Although can be manually selected.

I'll have a dig around to see if I can find out what is going on or whether anyone has posted any bug reports.
