PC can't shut down because of Thunderbird

I click on/off button to shut down my PC, the shutdown begins but soon it shows Thunderbird's window and doesn't shut down until I close the app or click on/off button again

That is often caused by anti virus programs causing the program to hang, or appear to.

What anti virus do you use?

Hello, I use ESET Smart Security 9. Here is what is shown when the system doesn't shut down:

Looks like Thunderbird wants to close but can not.
