Hi, I got the the same version of Thunderbird on my desktop and laptop both running Windows 7 Pro. On my desk top under "Tools" I can create message filters, but on my laptop there is no "Tools" option and therefore no message filters available. How do I get the "Tools" option on my laptop? Kurt

Chosen Solution

Turn on the Main menu bar. (Turning it off is the reverse of turning it on.) Right click a blank space on the toolbar Select Menu bar from the menu.
