I'm afraid I don't understand your question, your user agent has nothing to do with your internet speed, it simply identifies to Websites what browser you are using.

Are you getting pages for mobile device on the desktop computer?

You would likely have to reset the user agent and clear cache (or bypass the cache) and cookies after changing user agent.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
