ich habe ein Problem. Beim gestrigen Hochfahren meines Rechners und Start von Firefox war meine ganze Struktur weg.

Tabs und Gruppen waren futsch und somit wurden alle darin gespeicherten Seiten ohne Struktur angezeigt. :-(

Wie kann ich die Gruppen wieder öffnen?

Online habe ich hierzu nichts gefunden.

Po aktualizacji Firefoxa do wersji 147.0.3 (64 bity) nie mam dostępu do haseł zapisanych przez lata. To już drugi taki przypadek, a pierwszy naprawił się po nowej aktualizacji. To cyfrowa inteligencja rządzi Firefoxem?

1. Was able to receive emails sent to my address xxxxxx@xxxxxxx.free-online.co.uk, but unable to SEND my replies. Was getting this notification: 'Send message error. Sending of message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Unknown sender. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again, OK' (see attached). 2. Checked all settings, all correct as used to be before the problem started. 3. At some stage, I tried changing the password in Settings > Privacy & Security > Passwords > Saved passwords > Saved logins to see if that helped. It didn't. 4. This time I also failed to receive emails in my INBOX (except for the Mozilla new sign-in email) and got this other notification: ' Login to account "xxxxxx@xxxxxxx.free-online.co.uk" failed. Login to server mail.free-online.net with Username xxxxxxx failed. Enter new password/Cancel/Retry'. 5. I tried Cancel and Retry (several times) but was still getting the same notif. (see attached). 6. I removed the free-online Server from the Saved logins (Provider: smtp://relay.free-online.net, User: xxxxxxx) with the intention of restoring it with a new password - but found I couldn't restore the free-online server. So I decided the best thing to do was to restore the password as it was before and to ask for help here. I will have to check on the webmail until the problem is resolved.

NB1. Free-online is a sub section of Plusnet. NB2. Last year I received an email from Greenby saying something about maybe taking over from Plusnet and that I would be notified if and when I had to do anything. I have not received any such instructions so left things as they were. Many thanks for your help from a not-very-techy so stressed old lady.

Thank you for the prompt reply and I'm sending it back to English I have a problem with the yahoo.mail account. While I log in normally when I'm on google on mozilla I can't log in and while it accepts the passwords. He gives me an answer: " Technical problem. Right now we can't connect you try some other time " I spoke with help YAHHO . I did everything prescribed but nothing. It took me to the solution of the subscription. Can you help? Thank you

It seems that the bookmarks function and history files are possibly "in use by another app". I do not understand much of this. I think it happened after an update. I tried a restore point. I deleted the Icons file as it seemed that might be an issue and they would automatically update on restart. I called Dell support, they could not fix it, neither could my smart, younger friends. So after hours of frustration, I had to install chrome, which I hate. What I want is for someone to just fix it. Its 2:30am and I need to get some sleep, I will check this tomorrow afternoon and see if I can get anywhere. Good night all!

'I have an additional bookmark toolbar along top of my screen... how to delete this bookmark bar. When I delete each of them it's all still there next time I open my firefox

What is the function of File / Empty Trash? Will it empty trash in all mail accounts or only the selected? If I select Blogs & News feeds will File / Empty Trash empty read posts there as well? Empty Trash is a bit unclear.

I have been dealing with this issue for the last several thunderbird versions. I am currently running 115.18.0

Everytime I try to configure an existing gmail account for thunderbird via File -> New -> Existing email account

I specify my Name and gmail email address, then password for the gmail account.

The google authentication pop up launches " Mozilla Thunderbird wants to access you Gmail" and I click "Allow"

As soon as I click "Allow" I am asked to download a file.

Google gemini says this file is a sign that Oauth is not being accepted by thunderbird.

What I have tried. I verified Thunderbird is set to accept cookies I have verified there are no previously stored gmail passwords (as this has never worked) I have changed my default browser from Firefox to Brave and verified the same behavior

please help, Thunderbird has never been able to connect to gmail when running on this Ubtuntu install.

I have updated my firefox on W11 laptop to the latest version 147.0.3 (64-bit) but it cannot show any pictures from some, but not all, sites. Not from www.svt.se nor from www.yr.no But its ok from other sites, as www.tradera.com and www.kjell.com

It works fine using android firefox version 147.0.3

Any ideas, anyone?

Answer: Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware that some parts of the newsletter may not display correctly in Firefox, while they do load in other browsers. Unfortunately, this is a browser-specific issue and not something we’re able to control on our end.

Sometimes I want to enter arbitrary IPA strings into websites from my phone. I've tried finding a privacy-respecting way to conveniently do this and the best way I've found so far is to use the app Unicode Keyboard by Tim Wunderlich, available on the Google Play Store, and enter the code point for the IPA letters or diacritics I want. This works in every other app, but in Firefox, there are two characters I can't enter this way - the combining grave diacritic U+0300 and the combining acute diacritic U+0301. Even other combining diacritica work. I like researching and talking about linguistics and conlanging online, and sometimes this involves using those diacritics to mark tones. This is such an odd specific incapability for Firefox to have but it has persisted, since at least as far back as 2024. I've just had to enter those diacritics in another app and copy&paste them in. I can enter the diacritics directly as keyboard input in Firefox on Windows and GNU/Linux.
