Recently, I tried to send an email with a too large attachment and it gave a too large fail message. However, every day I get this fail message (see screenshot). But there is no message in the Outbox or Drafts. How do I stop these attempts to send the message?

My primary firefox/google profile vanished along with all bookmarks. Recovery history only shows bookmark from secondary account that is under a different email.

How to I restore the bookmarks (years worth!) from my primary profile?

I inadvertently deleted a mail sub folder named Shopping Oder Confirmations I found the folder in my acronis backup and copied it to my desktop I then pasted it in to the profile window of thunderbird in hopes that when i restarted it would show up in my mail folders which it did not I can send you screen shots of the different windows where I dropped the folder Can you help please?! There is tons of information in these folders I reference often. Thank you! BTW I did just make a donation :)

I am unable to sign in to my yahoo mail account. It gives me a fault that "something went wrong, please try another device". I can use brave as my browser and sign in with no problem but not with firefox. Any idea why?

I won't show my account information but when I try to access Amtrak's Guest Rewards site it goes into a loop. First it asks for username & password and accepts that with no problem. Then it asks for the code it sends to my cell phone and accepts that. And then it just keeps reloading various pages until I kill it. This is the error message shown in the log, it's repeated over and over:

I recently re-installed Win 11 with the help of a Dell tool. During the re-install all of my data files were kept, but not the applications. I've re-installed Thunderbird and it works fine. However, I've noticed that my address book is empty. I've found abook.sqlite through the Profile Folder, so I know the file exists, but how do I connect it to the Address Book link in Tools? I used to have Windows 10 and was using Thunderbird with Quickbooks POS 18 and if I wanted to send an email in Quickbooks like a purchase order or receipt, it would open up a mailto window in Thunderbird with no issue. I've moved to a Windows 11 computer with the same profile running a 32bit version of Thunderbird, set as my Windows default mail client, even in the registry I've set it there but Quickbooks says I don't have a default email client setup. I've exhausted every search over the internet trying to fix it. Any ideas?

1. After composing mail in Yahoo mail on my Mac laptop with Firefox, I cannot scroll down to "Send" to send the email I can Send using Safari on the same laptop,.

2. On the Website Sense.com, Firefox has changed the background. The original is baqlck background with yellow text; Firefox displays White background with blue text. Safari displays the original on the same laptop. I've been using Firefox since 2000, please stop tinkering with pages which work. I'd prefer to continue using an Open Source outfit rather than a Proprietary one, in solute of not having a Help phone number. ThANK YOU.

I have recently installed 140.7.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 11

1. It keeps asking for my account password, I always check the box for saving to the password manager, with no effect, I still have to type it in every single time. (I did set up pwd manager and I do have a master pwd)

2. Initially I had Thunderbird pick up my Gmail account as well, but it stopped picking up my Gmail for some reason. So I completely deleted my Gmail account in Thunderbird. yet it persistently asks for access to Gmail every 15 minutes. (I get a notification from Gmail saying that Tbird is asking for access to Gmail). The Gmail account no longer exists in Tbird, does not show up in the menu, and it does not download anything from Gmail if I give it permissions.

When I try and "Compact" my trash folder, I get the following error message: "The folder 'Trash on redacted@gmail.com' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again."

There is plenty of disk space, but there is no option for "write privileges". The trash folder has grown to 632 MgB even though I keep deleting old messages from the trash folder!

hello. my name is Andrew. im learning the language toki pona. great language! however, it does not currently have support in Unicode.

as a workaround to use this language online, people have been downloading a font called nasin nanpa, and adding it to firefox's font fallback system in the about:config settings, and using the fonts UCSUR characters, like these 󱥬, 󱥂​󱤴​󱤧​󱤑​󱦐󱤄󱤽󱤧󱤊󱥵󱦑.

[specifically, the font uses codepoints in the Private Use Area because the language's script is not yet in Unicode. ]

the changes are to these settings.

font.name-list.cursive.x-western font.name-list.monospace.x-western font.name-list.sans-serif.x-western font.name-list.serif.x-western

recently, this system has stopped working. this change breaks multiple websites, including many discord community's that used the font to talk online in toki pona!

it also presumably breaks other fallback scenarios. now im guessing that this has not been noticed as most fonts support every commonly used character, making this feature rather obscure. however i really would love this to be fixed, and so would the large toki pona community!

In previous Thunderbird versions, when you subscribed to a RSS-Feed that required authorization, Thunderbird prompted for it, just as a Webbrowser would.

I'd enter the username and password, tick the box "Save in Password manager" (or something) and the feed would come in.

I don't know when that changed, but nowadays Thunderbird just says "Feed is unautorized". No password prompt, no possibility to mark a feed as "requires Authentication".

I know I could pass username and password in the URL, but that is rather unsafe compared to saving the password in password manager protected with a primary password.

It seems that there were some bug reports some 21 years ago about the same issue, so maybe this is a regression?

Hello, Within the past hour, "Checking for Updates" keeps running. I thought checking "choose to install" would limit the numerous times this happens per day, but it hasn't.

I've been experiencing this for a couple weeks and it's getting worse. I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm running Windows 11 and the last FF Mozilla update was #147.01.

Please advise.
