Is there a way to change the location of the default storage directory? I'm talking about ~/.mozilla/firefox/tjdaag57.default-release/storage/default which gradually fills with files from all the websites I've visited. That directory slowly increases in size and I don't want that, so I'm looking for a way to change the location where these files go.

I have a dell xps 7390 2-in-1 one laptop loaded with Pop_os 21.04. (Linux) and vanilla firefox with no extensions installed.

The laptop is touch screen.

When I tap the address bar at the top, the onscreen keyboard opens up. i am able to type into the address bar. Hitting the enter key on the onscreen keyboard does nothing. I have to tap the little go icon.

If I repeat this activity using the mouse and keyboard. hitting the enter button works fine.

Hello,

I'm able to reproduce in safe mode, but FF doesn't want to crash so no report.

System : Debian Buster 10.

I have just installed Firefox in Debian Buster on a Chromebook (arm64) using snap. The installation had no errors, but when I launch Firefox from the command line, I get a string of warnings in the terminal, about 7 variations on these two (the numbers are different every time I attempt it):

(firefox:1012): Gdk-WARNING **: 23:00:22.932: Failed to read portal settings: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop was not provided by any .service files

(/snap/firefox/596/usr/lib/firefox/firefox:1260): Gdk-WARNING **: 23:00:36.201: Failed to read portal settings: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop was not provided by any .service files

When Firefox does launch, I am able to scroll with my touchpad in the first default tab that is loaded. Any pages I load after that, including new tabs, do not respond to touchpad scrolling at all, although they scroll fine with arrows/touchscreen/dragging and recognize other touchpad input. (same applies with launching new windows/private windows from within Firefox, the landing page scrolls and nothing else)

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and restarting my computer various times. I tried troubleshooting mode and clearing startup cache with no change.

I also receive this message in the terminal when I close the Firefox window, including when I had it restart itself in troubleshooting mode:

      1. !!! [Parent][RunMessage] Error: Channel closing: too late to send/recv, messages will be lost

Thank you for any help!

Hello there I am using Kali Linux and wish to remove bookmark bar from the top. Usually there's an option to never show bookmarks(in windows) but in this case(Kali Linux), this isn't the case anymore. So I would like some support about HOW DO I REMOVE MY BOOKMARK MENU FROM THE ADDRESS BAR and I would really appreciate it. FROM IMAGE : The bookmark menu you see that contains bookmarks like Kali Linux, Kali training, Kali Tool etc, is to be removed. NOT THE BOOKMARK itself but the COMPLETE BOOKMARK MENU Thanks again.

First of all, let me thank you for making Firefox desktop aware in Linux Mint Cinnamon. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^  !!! To have the tabs reload on the last desktop is wonderful. I used to have to re-arrange the tabs every reload. However, the performance behavior has changed since using Linux Mint 18. I just upgraded with a fresh install of Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon, firefox 92 64bit Firefox for Linux Mint -1.0 I have about 10 tabs across 3 desktops. When I exit and restart the session, the tabs get recreated and start loading. But the Linux GUI generally grinds to a halt. I thought that firefox was locked up. However recently I just let it sit and eventually apparently the tabs loaded and the machine was normal again. So something is a bit off in the priorities of threads? I can only guess...
