Здравствуйте! Я попробую описать проблему на английском и на русском, надеюсь получить ответ и решение как исправить то что я хочу.

В версии браузера Mozilla Firefox 68.0 или Firefox 68.12.0esr прозрачность как в предпросмотре при наведении курсора на вкладку, однако в Mozilla Firefox версии 142.0 или 142.0.1 открыв вкладку, вы увидите замыленность или мутное изображение.

Как видите, на предпросмотре лицо девушки нормальное, прозрачность хорошая, но когда я открываю вкладку, лицо девушки становится мутным. Как сделать прозрачным? как убрать эту мутность?

In Mozilla Firefox 68.0 or Firefox 68.12.0esr browser version, transparency is as in the preview when you hover over the tab, however, in Mozilla Firefox 142.0 or 142.0.1 when you open the tab, you will see a blurred or cloudy image.

As you can see, the girl's face is normal in the preview, the transparency is good, but when I open the tab, the girl's face becomes cloudy. How to make it transparent? how to remove this turbidity in Mozilla Firefox 142.0 or 142.0.1?

Japanese characters usually do not render.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

Very often while navigating around the website of a tool I use, I get an intrusive pop-up in the lower right corner. A screen shot is attached.

I first approached the website owner, but they explained it's a browser issue, no a website issue. They did, though, suggest that clearing cookies and cached might help ... But it didn't.

Is there any way to suppress that?

I got a prompt requesting i allow a midi device plugin to install but..... I denied and selected the "never ask again" option. Turns out i do need this device installed. How can i get the prompt back after i denied and checked "never again".

Environment: Windows 10 x64 (22H2) Browser: Firefox v142.0.1 x64 Precondition: Master password set when opening the browser

The user gets full access to the browser (except for access to passwords) when they click cancel password entry. Or close the modal password entry window.

Why is full access to websites and bookmarks granted? An outsider can easily access the browser where you are logged into your email, as well as gain access to your Firefox account management.

I really hoped that without entering a password, no open tabs would load and access to the entire browser would not be granted.

When the master password will actually start working?

Firefox claims does NOT save site/URL visit information while in Private Mode. And I thought that was true. However, I just discovered that Firefox DOES SAVE Private Mode URL/Site visits - in this specific place. I don't know how long the history will be saved - it looks like at least as long as the Window is open. I want to keep most of my open Private Tabs open - but want to Delete/Clear the ones I'm done with. I thought/understood that Private window/tab/visit info was not tracked/saved - and it's not saved in History, or Searchable. But it appears that this doesn't apply to the Recently Closed Tabs MenuItem. And there seems to be NO 'delete' or 'clear' option for this field. I can't find any reference to the subject in the Forum or Articles. The picture I've attached is NOT of the Recently Closed Tabs while in Private Browsing, but is the same MenuItem and field contents. Thanks for your interest. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to delete/clear this specific history.

When I swipe to the left, Firefox navigates Back & when I swipe to the right, Firefox navigates Forwards. It is VERY ANNOYING!!!! It's really easy to do this accidentally while scrolling around a large web page. When you go back, it deletes all data that was filled out on the web form causing DOUBLE the work. Rebuilt my computer, restored Bookmarks from 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' but the original 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar') is now empty and has been moved to the bottom of all my other bookmarks in a new 'Other Bookmarks' folder. How do I get the contents back in the 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar'). P.S. I have a backed up 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.json' as well as a ' bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' available, if that would help. Regards and Best, NP_145

It seems that my main page settings aren't the same from one computer to the other. For instance, I use Roboforms password keeper and have an icon for it above the bookmark ribbon on one computer, but moving to the newer computer, that is missing. What am I doing wrong?

The bookmarks on my taskbar are all of a sudden not showing up. I'm unable to drag them there like I used to. Also, the history and menu button on the upper right don't work now. I've restarted with no luck.

Whenever I start my machine, without opening Firefox, Ctrl-Shift-I works (For inverting selections in certain programs, for example).

However, once I open Firefox, these 3 keys no longer work when used together (but work in any other combo).

This persists even when I close Firefox, or kill it in Task manager.

Any ideas?

14-inch MacBook Pro 2021, MacOs Sequoia 15.6.1 - Attempting to log in to my iCloud account on Firefox I receive the message, "Failed to verify your identity. Try again."

For example, the word thema, is exclusively capitalized in German, and it shows as error indeed when lowercase, but the capitalized one is not offered in the options. Why is that and how to fix it?

Also, is there a way to autocorrect capitalization for example?

HI, After upgrade to Seqouia 15.6.1 an extension for developing Oracle APEX applications breaks Firefox. It is the only extension I have installed. Console information is not really that helpful. Maybe you can make some head and tails about it.
