Hi, I want to sync firefox. between my mac book pro and mac air. THe instructions I find on the web don't work. I don't see a sync and save date choice in my menu

They show how to sync between a laptop and a phone. Thanks, Bill

All fields in Account Settings (Account Name, Your Name, Email Address, Organization, Signature text) have gone blank. I keep entering the appropriate text in each of these fields but as soon as I close the Account Settings tab and reopen it, they all disappear.

I've read the original query from romanroad (4/23/24) and the replies, which related to gmail. I have the same problem but with a slightly different set-up, which those replies don't cover. My query relates to Thunderbird 128.5.1esr (64-bit) using IMAP to link with Outlook emails. re [1] When I Right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe..., I can uncheck the Sent folder BUT there is no Sent Mail folder. (Folders are Archive, Deleted (with subfolder POP), Drafts, INBOX, Junk, Notes, Outbox and Sent [as well as 3 personal folders].) Both Outbox and Sent were checked. If I uncheck the Sent box, leaving Outbox checked, the Sent folder empties completely; if I then check it again, it refills all the sent messages from years back (presumably from Outlook because of IMAP.) re [2] In Account Settings I had unchecked the "Place a copy in:" option - but am still getting duplicates. I do want a copy of what I have sent - just not two of everything.

My computer had to be "factory reset" last night (I don't know if that's what it's called - but I have to re-install things like my Firefox). When I reinstalled Firefox, it populated with an older version of my Firefox's bookmarks. I have Firefox on my mobile device - and it still has the latest version of my Bookmarks.

The desktop installation prompted me to sync my devices -- but, would this old desktop prevail over my phone Firefox? Or is there a way I can make my phone Firefox replace my desktop version? (I spent about 2 hours organizing my bookmarks into folders, about 3 months ago ... and I've added tons more, of course).

I do have a Firefox Recovery Key that I took note of a year or so ago --- If there's a way to use that, will it give me the bookmarks I had up to yesterday afternoon? If so - how do I use it

Thunderbird Problem: For many years I have been using the Thunderbird mail client currently in ver. 128.7.0esr (32 bit) on S.O. Windows 10 Home Update 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5487), 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. I have a couple of mail accounts, one of mine and one of my wife. My problem is that for a few days now (about 5 or 6 days) on the InBox folder of my account, only mine, I have not been able to compact the folder. When I try to compact it, the response message is always the following: <The Inbox folder on "my_account_name@gmail.com" cannot be compacted because it is not possible to write to it. Verify that you have enough disk space and have write privileges, then try again> On my disk the available space is 121 Gb on C: where the program with the InBox folders resides and 266 Gb where the data stored in custom folders resides. The write privileges are always the same, never changed, of Administrator. I have already tried the path of "repairing the folder" and re-indexing the folder, but without success. Il mio problema è che da qualche giorno in qua (circa 5 o 6 giorni) sulla cartella InBox del mio account, solo del mio, non riesco ad eseguire la compattazione della cartella. Al tentativo di compattarla il messaggio di risposta è sempre il seguente: <La cartella Posta in arrivo su "nome_mio_account@gmail,com" non può essere compattata in quanto non è possibile scriverci. Verificare di avere spazio su disco sufficiente e avere privilegi di scrittura, quindi riprovare> Sul mio disco lo spazio disponibile è di 121 Gb su C: dove risiede il programma con le cartelle InBox e di 266 Gb dove risiedono i dati archiviati in cartelle personalizzate. I privilegi di scrittura sono sempre quelli, mai cambiati, di Amministratore. Ho già tentato la strada della "riparazione della cartella" e della re-indicizzazione della cartella, ma senza successo. I would like to dump Chrome and return to using Firefox. I just would like to know if it's possible somehow to remove about:mozilla page from within a browser (it's important for me). If anyone knows of a way to do it - please let me know.

The latest Firefox update (135.0) for Android has reset some of my settings. This is a huge annoyance. I had to check every single setting because I wasn't sure which ones were reset. The browser is behaving like it just got installed. Themes were completely ruined. My homepage had sponsored ads added back in. It also added random shortcuts that I specifically deleted in the first place. My privacy settings were also reset. Autofill settings that I turned off were turned on. Always-on HTTPS was turned off. This is happening for the 2nd time in a row after each new updates. My custom search engine and accounts were the only things that didn't change. My device is Redmi Note 8, Android 11, MIUI 12.5. Please do something about this. Upon checking Playstore, there are a couple of reviews stating this exact issue. I love Firefox but this is such an annoying bug.

Lately Facebook will not completely load in firefox. I have no issues with google chrome. It will load the first 1-2 posts then either it say Error with the wrench or just blank and flashes.

I'm searching for a possiblity to assign a task to a user, like it is possible for an event. According to RFC 5545 this should be possible for VTODO however in the GUI the "Attendee" field is missing. Is this an intended situation?

I'm experiencing an issue with Firefox where my saved passwords from my desktop aren't syncing to my Android phone. Pressing the "Sync Now" button doesn't trigger any action. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including removing and readding the device, force stopping the app, clearing cache and data, and manually syncing again, but nothing has worked. It seems like a bug. Any suggestions?
