I'm unable to bookmark a page in the folde I want. Only two of my folders is hown. HOW DO i SEE THEM ALL?

I have never found Firefox's bookmarking very intuitive- only frustrating. I am unable to bookmark a page into the folder I want because only two of my folders are shown and they aren't the one's I want. How do I get all my folders shown when I hit bookmark this page? I have followed the instructions to no avail.
