how do i/must i uninstall windows IE in order to use Firefox?

i would like to become a Firefox user. I currently am running Windows IE. I have Windows Vista premium home pkg as an operating system. I use Mcafee for security. I have an external webcam that i use Windows live messenger to make video calls with.

No need to remove IE. Down load Firefox and specify it as your default browser when asked. You can still open and use IE if you want to.

I am using both browsers - IE and Firefox. No problem.
