Hello All, I'm desperately trying to set my uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird to have Body Text as default. All suggestions online are outdated and don't work since suggested places in settings and account settings are not existing anymore. I have a machine at home with Thunderbird and it has Body Text as default. How on earth can I get there? Thanks

See <Settings | Composition | HTML Style | "Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default">. I'm looking at Thunderbird version 153.1.1esr, but the setting has been in the same location for at least the past few versions.

Hello Lin, Yes, it was there all along. I must have been blinded by the numerous outdated locations and procedures. Sorry having wasted your time.

No problem, no waste. Sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees. I'd be first in line to testify that Thunderbird's options and settings are very poorly organized.
