Recommended extension one click download+install. Allow bulk install

Recommended extensions are already verifed and safe. So after every downlowd had to wait before prompt appears to confirm install is annoying

Look at chrome extension store, it prompt confirmation in beginning and after allowing downloads and installs silently in background

That way we can rapidly bulk install extension on startup/first time set up. Instead of waiting for download then confirm then hop to next

Hi Sooraj,

Thanks for your feedback. I'll make sure to share this with the Addons team.

Thank you for your feedback Sooraj. At this time we won't be changing this behaviour, as we want to make sure that the user is in control and informed of the permissions/data collection practices of an extension each time something it is installed on their device.

I am not asking to disable it, as its a must thing. But look at chrome webstore, the permission promt/extension details/warning is immediately shown on install button click, once approved it will download and install.

But in firefox it first downloads then prompts to install. Isn't that another problem of unnecessary download if user later choose not to install ?
