Particular websites will not open in firefox

I run 115.37.0esr (64bit) on a Windows 7 pro system. Recently I cannot look at either Home Depot or Lowes websites. I can see them on Chrome. I have no other trouble viewing websites, just these two. Can anyone tell me why and more to the point tell me how to fix it.

They seem to be blocking Windows 7 users in some unpredictable patterns it seems: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1579167 — no real solution, but a trick mentioned in that thread how to "mask" you're running an old system in case that helps fooling their security.
