What on earth is going on with Thunderbird? I have used it for years but in the last few months it constantly freezes, says not responding, closes, page greys out. I am so fed up with this I feel like using another programme having used it for many years for all three of my email addresses.

Please Start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Still In Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird
