Stopped downloading gmail to my Thunderbird account I get this message: 400. That’s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

Hi, This is a server side error on Google's side. Can you please try again after some time?
Have you tried to enable your cookies in your Thunderbird (Privacy & Security settings) Probably it will be enough to store it for accounts.google.com
