Hello It depends - you will need to make sure that everything you want to keep is still on your online email server. If you were using IMAP and not downloading to Local Folders, then everything should be on the online email servers. Any computer you add Thunderbird to should see all of the same emails. So check that - on the 'other' computer, check it is using IMAP, and review all the folders that are visible and see that they contain all your older emails. If both computers have the same content you can simply stop using one of them. However if one computer has emails that are not on the other you will need to consider what you need to keep and copy those messages to a folder that does appear on both computers.
