How can I get rid of ALL Address books and have my Personal Address Book and Business Address books remain SEPERATE in Mozilla Thunderbird?

I run a Pharmacy Group and use and have used Thunderbird for many years.

The latest version of Thunderbird causes me real headaches when it loads as ALL Addressbooks on opening.

I do not want this option and do not want this option on my system.

How do I turn this OFF.

I go back to a previous version and get constantly bombarded with update notices.

Can you please fix this aberration immediately.
