Bookmarks won't sync between mobile device and pc
Bookmarks are not syncing between devices with ff sync. I am running version 33 on both windows 7 and android 4.4.2. I have tried clean installs on both as well as deleting all sync data and the account itself. The only thing that actually syncs is history from the pc to android, not even android to pc. All I want to sync are bookmarks but I have tried everything just to be sure. I tried adding a bookmark on the phone and syncing and nothing. If anyone has any thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any warnings on the sync page of the Mobile settings? Or are the bookmarks in the folder "Mobile bookmarks"?

There are no warnings on either device and the Mobile bookmarks folder never gets created. I tried doing a remote debug but could not connect to the device. I am able to see the device listed after issuing the 'adb devices' command. I can console to the device and copy, move, edit and change permissions of anything I want but for some reason, the debug tool will not connect to the device. I have not changed any names or ports so all should be default.
There are two places to enable remote debugging. In the browser and in the Android Settings. Are they both enabled?
Remote debugging is set on both the pc in ff and on the mobile device under developer options. I tried setting up a new pc to see if anything would sync and was able to sync all bookmarks from the original pc as well as the mobile bookmarks. So as far as I can tell the phone is blocking receiving anything. I am running on a rooted phone but never had this issue before. Since I cannot get debug running, I will shutdown apps 1 by 1 to see if one of them is doing something to interfere. I welcome any other options.
