Does the Alcatel and ZTE Firefox OS phones come with a network lock ?
I plan to buy one of the two new phones from Spain / Poland running Firefox OS and I'm curios to know if they come with a network lock that will prevent me to use it from Romania, or will they come unlocked?

These phones are locked, but apparently the ones sold in spain are relatively easy to unlock. I don't have more information ATM on that though, sorry :(
Can you please point me to something even remotely helpful regarding the unlocking ?
You should be able to contact Movistar and ask that your phone be unlocked. They'll provide a code and instructions for how to do so.
Can use ZTE OPEN fire fox bought say from India or China in Uganda

In my case I bought it from Spain and now I'm using it in Romania. The phone was locked, but calling their call center I managed to get the NCK code that will easily unlock the phone.

I would really REALLY avoid johnboyoldguy's solution unless you're really REALLY desperate and you can't call their info line.
Movistar will give you an unlock code after you have spent more than a €100 in top ups.
They've told me the same, but after insisting that what they where asking is illegal, they've finally gave me the NCK code, without paying a cent more.
