Cannot uninstall a persona

Going to try this again. I had installed a persona, uninstalled it to wear a new one. The first persona keeps coming back. Going into tools/add-ons/appearances to change this does no good, the old persona does is not even listed. I have even tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling and the unwanted persona shows up! Can i find that particular persona somewhere in my computer and remove it? This is so annoying.

The persona data is stored in a pref in the prefs.js file.

So it sounds that you have a problem with the prefs.js file
