Why does Firefox not hold my chosen HOME page when it is closed?

Following instructions I drag my selected HOME page to the HOME button, and when checking under OPTIONS it is shown correctly. When I close then reopen Firefox the HOME page alway reverts to http://search.imesh.com/ Where am I going wrong?
