Unable to make selections in top 20% of page

I am unable to make any selections in approximately the top 15% to 20% of any pages. For example I am unable to activate any menu at the top of a web page. I don't have a problem lower down the page and if able I can overcome this issue by scrolling the page down so that the cursor is positioned in the middle of the screen. Then it will work. 

If I use internet explorer I don't have this problem.

im having the same problem too,what can i do to fix this issue?

The Yahoo! Toolbar extension has been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall that add-on.

Thanks for the advice my problem is solved. I followed the link (https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes) that told me how to removed the extension. Doing this fixed the problem.
