Firefox unexpectedly closed on me and when I opened it up again it did not immediately give me the option to restore closed tabs. So I went to the menu to click on restore closed tabs there but the option was not provided to click on. How do I restore tabs under this scenario? Thanks.

You need to restore the last session (Ctrl+Shift+T) before you can restore closed tabs.
