A few versions of Thunderbird back, I could easily change the order of Local Folders by pressing down with the left mouse button and sliding the folder to the desired positions.

Now I can no longer do this.

Re-ordering local folders alphabetically would be helpful too.

Suggestions, please.

You may have been using the addon called 'manually sort folders' - try that and see if it fits your needs.
