Google thinks I'm in Italy - I checked that Firefox has not given any location information to Google

When I open Google in Firefox it comes up in Italian (I'm in the UK). I followed the Firefox help articles and checked which websites had been given permission to use my location information - none had. So I don't know where to look next!

Hello statyfac,

Would you please go here :

https://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en-GB&fg=1#

Under 'Region Settings' check 'United Kingdom' - then click the blue 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.

And check your preferred language here :

https://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en-GB&fg=1#languages

(don't forget to click the blue 'Save' Button at the bottom of the page)

Does that work  ?
