Had problems with my windows pc. Microsoft techs reinstalled Windows 10. I reinstalled Firefox but could not get the many bookmarks that I had. Your Support said they were automatically saved and could easily be restored. I tried going to "Restoring from backups"... I saw a dated backup, January 18? but there like only 14 there. I had a lot more than 14. Have used Firefox for over 10 years and had many bookmarks. How do I restore the many bookmarks that were automatically backed up? Thanks

You can check if there is a C:\Windows.old folder with your prior personal data.

Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data in "AppData\Roaming" (Root Directory on about:profiles).

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
