The new version of Firefox was installed on my Mac but there are no thumbnails when it opens.

55.0.1 is the version I have now. It used to open with thumbnails of the sites I frequently use. No more. How do I get them back?

The page with tiles that most recently visited websites is the about:newtab page that opens if you open a new tab.

You can set this about:newtab page as the home page or as the startup page to see this page when you start Firefox.

There is no about:newtab indication on the new tab. No tiles at all. Just a generic set of icons for Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. Which I never use.
