Up until this past week Ive had no problems with firefox. Now I cant get it to open what so ever

Everytime that I click on the icon to open it, nothing happens. Ive tried doing to upgrade thing and it says that I have to close firefox before I can complete the upgrade but I cant open it so I dont know what to do. It shows it as open in my task manager also. I then uninstalled it and reinstalled it and I am still having the same problems with it not opening. Help!!

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
