A new feature of Thunderbird that is a pain in the rear is whenever a new message is highlighted, whether clicking on it or attempting to cursor through the list, the focus gets changed from the list of messages to the message body of the newly highlighted message. How can I stop this behavior?

This problem has gone away with the update from 45.1.0 to 45.1.1.
